John Fanta, CPIA
agent
John is a licensed property and casualty agent, specializing in personal and business owners insurance. He is a 2008 graduate of the TAPP Producer Training Program sponsored by Westfield Insurance Group and has earned the Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) designation from the American Insurance Marketing and Sales Society.
He is a graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree, emphasis on business administration, communications and entrepreneurship.
John is active in the St. Marys community as a participating member of the Pleasants County Chamber of Commerce and a certified referee for WV Secondary Schools. He is an officer in the state insurance association, IIAWV, past director and service project committee chair for Rotary International and past president of the Henry Logan Children’s Home Foundation.
Ray Fanta, AAI
Ray has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. He has been an owner and president of Waters Insurance Agency in Parkersburg since 1987 as well as Landfried-Fanta Insurance in Ripley. The agencies are annual recipients of company awards for sales, expertise and service, including the Horizon Award from Westfield Insurance Group and the Pacesetter Club Award from Motorists Mutual.
Ray believes his customers benefit from the variety of strong national and regional insurance companies he represents as an independent insurance agent that offer competitive choices for all types of auto, home, and business insurance, including great options for workers compensation insurance and flood insurance.
A graduate of Marietta College, his insurance education includes the Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI) designation from the Insurance Institute of America.
Ray is active in the community as a past board member of The Boys and Girls Club (Pkbg), Rotary Club, Community Bank board of directors and Chambers of Commerce in Pleasants County and the Mid-Ohio Valley. He is an avid sports fan and supporter of local school athletics.
Beth Fanta, AAI
Beth has been an agency owner and agent since 1987. She serves as operations manager for Fleming Insurance Agency as well as the Fanta’s locations in Parkersburg and Ripley as she supervises the accounting, personnel and IT functions of the business. She is a graduate of Marietta College with a B.A. degree in Managerial Economics. Beth is a licensed agent with expertise in meeting the liability insurance needs of medical practices, nonprofits and business entities. She has achieved the Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI) designation from the Insurance Institute of America.
Beth has been involved in national and local organizations serving in leadership roles in Altrusa International, Agena/Vertafore Users Group, IIABA-WV, YMCA, Good Samaritan Clinic, and The King’s Daughters and Sons, International. In her free time she enjoys music, gardening and time spent with family.
Amy Caruthers, Agent
Amy is a licensed property and casualty agent, specializing in personal and businessowners insurance. Amy brings to the team fifteen years of sales and marketing experience both in the insurance industry and the financial sector.
Earning a Bachelor of Science in journalism from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, she is actively involved in several community outreach activities for the betterment of area children and youth.
Regina “Gina” Murray, Agent
Previously the owner of River Valley Insurance Agency, LLC, in Belmont, W.Va., Gina and her clients joined Fleming Insurance in 2021. Gina is known for her commitment to helping others and her community. It is that approach that aids her in securing the best personal and business insurance solutions for our customers.
A graduate of Glenville State College, Gina is also the also the owner of Almost Heaven Bath & Beauty.
Lee Flower Singleton, Agent and Former Principal of Leo Flower Agency
Lee became a licensed property and casualty in 1985 when she joined her father, Leo Flower, at Leo Flower Agency. Earning a Bachelor of Science in Business from West Virginia University, she continued her education through certifications from the American Institute of Banking.
